What the harness does
The model generates responses and tool requests. Flowly manages the surrounding loop: calling tools, carrying session context, retrieving memory and applying the configured execution policy. MCP servers and skills extend what the agent can use.
Choose your model and your interface
The CLI runs on macOS, Linux and Windows. The desktop app is available for macOS; Windows and Linux desktop builds are planned. Mobile apps connect you to your agent. Model provider support depends on the configured adapter and credentials.
When it fits
Consider Flowly for a personal agent with persistent memory, your own model keys and access through multiple interfaces. Evaluate another category if you need an embeddable backend SDK or a fully managed deployment with a specific certified control. Verify those requirements before adopting any agent.
Ownership has boundaries
The agent core is Apache-2.0. Native apps and hosted services are separate components. A local runtime can still send requests to a remote model provider. Self-hosting gives you runtime control; it does not make every connected service local.
