Install from the current guide
Follow the canonical installation and setup instructions. Check flowly --version, choose your provider and run one harmless prompt. Keep a record of your operating system and version so another person can reproduce the setup.
Check policy and persistence
Review the execution policy before enabling tools. Restart the runtime and check that the intended session and memory state remains. Find the documented data directory and establish a backup process before adding valuable data.
Add one connection at a time
Connect one channel or MCP server, test its read permissions and inspect its data flow. Keep the runtime online when you expect it to respond remotely. Measure a representative task before deciding whether to move it to a server.
