Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a server to run Flowly?

No. Flowly runs through the desktop app on your own machine — there are no servers to set up. Pair the mobile app and your assistant stays reachable through the Flowly relay.

Do I need technical knowledge?

Not for the Desktop experience — guided installers handle local setup. If you later attach messaging bots, Flowly exposes checklists plus optional managed hosting workflows.

Can I use my own API keys?

Yes. Bring your Anthropic/OpenAI/OpenRouter keys from Settings, and optionally connect your own hosting provider credentials if you administer advanced setups.

Where does assistant data stay?

Your assistant and its data stay anchored to your own device. Flowly does not ingest your transcripts for unrelated training purposes.
