How Credits Work

API credits are used when your AI assistant processes messages. Your monthly plan includes credits that reset each billing cycle. If you run out, you can purchase bonus credits that never expire.

What uses credits?

Credits are consumed when your AI assistant processes messages. The cost depends on:

The AI model used (Claude Sonnet uses more than Claude Haiku)
Message length and complexity
Number of messages processed

Use Your Own API Key

Don't want to use Flowly credits? You can connect your own API key from any of our supported providers and pay the AI provider directly. When using your own key, no Flowly credits are consumed.
